The Trinity Arms

A proper Jersey local set back from the lane opposite Trinity Church, with a low-beamed bar, log fires crackling through the winter months and a sunny garden that fills with families and walkers in summer. The kitchen turns out generous, no-nonsense pub classics - fish and chips, steak and ale pie, a popular Sunday carve - alongside daily specials chalked on a board behind the bar. It has the easy, unhurried feel of a village local where regulars and visitors mix happily, dogs are welcome by the fire, and nobody minds muddy boots fresh off the cliff paths.
