Le Hocq Inn

A relaxed seafront pub on the FB Fields side of the island, with a wide terrace facing one of Jersey's distinctive Martello towers and the long sweep of the south-east coast. Inside it's unfussy and warm, with locals propping up the bar and a steady trade of walkers and dog owners coming in off the coastal path. The menu sticks to easy pub classics - fish and chips, burgers, a hearty curry of the day - all generously portioned and reasonably priced. It's a particular favourite with families after a low-tide walk along Le Hocq, and on a clear evening the terrace fills up fast for the view alone.

Lovely sunsets in summer; bring a jumper for the terrace as it cools quickly once the sun dips.
