The full story

Noirmont was the most heavily fortified headland in Jersey during the German Occupation. Today its restored command bunker, gun emplacements and observation tower stand among heather and gorse, with some of the south coast's finest views.

Good to know

The command bunker opens to visitors on selected days via the Channel Islands Occupation Society.
