By using jerseyisland.app (the "Site") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Jersey Island Guide is a free informational travel guide for Jersey, Channel Islands. We are an independent publisher - not a travel agent, tour operator, hotel, restaurant, or booking platform. We don't take reservations or process payments for third parties.

We work hard to keep our content accurate, but the Site is provided "as is". Tide times, weather forecasts, opening hours, prices, events and route information change frequently, and a business can close, move or rebrand faster than we can catch it.

Verify anything safety-critical - especially tides and coastal walks - with official sources such as Jersey Met and Ports of Jersey.

Map pins are placed as carefully as we can manage, but a pin's exact position - or the business it's attached to - can occasionally be outdated or slightly off, especially just after a venue relocates, closes or changes hands. Treat pins as a helpful guide, not a survey-grade coordinate.

Links to external websites - official venue pages, booking platforms, ferry and flight operators - are checked when we add them, but the businesses behind them can change or take down their own site at any time without telling us.

Spotted a wrong pin, a dead link, or any other mistake? Please tell us at jerseyislandapp@gmail.com so we can fix it. Jersey Island Guide is a living platform that keeps growing and improving, and we correct issues like these on an ongoing basis as they're found or reported.

Our AI-generated itineraries are suggestions produced by a language model and may contain errors, outdated information, or unrealistic timings. Treat them as a starting point, not a booking confirmation.

Each account may generate up to 3 plans per day. We may adjust limits, throttle, or suspend generation to prevent abuse or manage costs.

You may create a free account to save plans and vote in Top 10. One account per person. Keep your credentials secure - you're responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the Site, other users, or our systems.

When you submit suggestions, messages or photos through our Support page, you grant Jersey Island Guide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, edit and publish that content on the Site and related channels.

You confirm you own the rights to what you submit and that any photos of people were taken with their consent. Don't submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that you don't have the right to share.

The Site links to hotels, restaurants, tour operators and booking sites. Some links may be affiliate links - meaning we can earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences whether a place is featured or how it is described.

External sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for them.

Site content - curated lists, descriptions, photos we've taken, branding, and code - is © Jersey Island Guide unless credited otherwise. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial use. Bulk copying, scraping, or republishing without written permission is not allowed.

You agree not to:

• Scrape or bulk-download the Site or its API
• Attempt to break authentication, rate limits, or database access controls
• Upload malware, illegal content, or content that violates others' rights
• Impersonate other people or businesses in submissions

Use of the Site and any activities you plan through it - beaches, tidal walks, coastal drives, restaurants, watersports - is entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jersey Island Guide is not liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense arising from your reliance on information published here.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Jersey, Channel Islands - a Crown Dependency with its own legal system, separate from the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of Jersey.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Jersey Island Guide about use of the Site. Our failure to enforce a provision at any time is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
