Working steam engines, vintage cars and a Victorian-style railway.

A historic 1890s tidal sea-bathing pool built into Havre des Pas bay, right on the St Helier seafront.
Havre des Pas Lido is a distinctive round seawater bathing pool built in 1895, one of the last surviving tidal pools of its kind in the British Isles. It fills with saltwater on every high tide and empties on the ebb, so a swim here looks different every visit. It sits a few minutes' walk east of central St Helier, along the atmospheric Havre des Pas promenade lined with Victorian guesthouses and cafés. It's a local favourite for morning dips, sunbathing on the concrete deck and jumping in from the platform. Entry is free.
The only tidal bathing pool of its kind on Jersey — a saltwater swim looking out over the open English Channel, in the heart of St Helier's old seaside quarter.
The pool only fills at high tide — check the tide timetable. No lifeguard. Cafés and parking nearby.

Out of season when we visited, so no swimming for us. There wS a guy swimming and then showering off after. Good facilities and we would definitely give it a go in the summer
Great location to swim should it be low tide, it's just such a shame nothing is done to police those who obnoxiously play their music at high volumes. Better maintenance needs to happen too, often the steps into the water are very slippery and even with the hand rail pose a threat to injury.
A good place to spent a whole day over there. Nice outdoors tidal pool so you can enjoy your swim in the sea but in a bit warmer water. I really enjoy my every trip there.
