The story

A blokart is a three-wheeled land yacht with a hand-held sail - and the vast firm sands of St Ouen's Bay are one of the best places in Britain to fly one. After a short briefing you're harnessing the Atlantic wind and skimming along the beach at surprising speed, carving turns with the surf beside you. Absolute Adventures runs blokarting sessions on the beach, with all equipment provided and no experience needed. It's wind-dependent, which on Jersey's west coast is rarely a problem.

What to expect

Go-karting powered by the wind on a five-mile beach - you can't do this in many places in the world.

Good to know

Wind and tide dependent - sessions run when conditions are right, so book and stay flexible. Minimum age usually 8+.
