St Brelade's quieter neighbour — wide sand backed by wild heathland.
All the sand of St Brelade's with a fraction of the crowds — plus rockpools at the western end and a proper old pub up the lane.
Separated from St Brelade's Bay by a small headland, Ouaisné shares the same sweep of sand but swaps promenade cafés for gorse-covered common. The protected heath behind the bay shelters rare wildlife including Jersey's agile frogs and green lizards.
The common is a Site of Special Interest — keep dogs on leads in spring.
