Mont Orgueil Castle
A spectacular medieval fortress towering over Gorey Harbour.

Napoleonic-era granite tower standing on a tidal islet in St Ouen's Bay.
La Rocco Tower is the last of the Jersey Round Towers built in the late 18th century to defend the wide sweep of St Ouen's Bay against French invasion. Marooned on a tidal rock at the southern end of the bay, it's only reachable on foot at low tide and is one of the island's most photographed landmarks at sunset.
The single most iconic silhouette on Jersey's west coast — especially when the sun drops behind it.
Only walkable at low tide; check the tide tables before crossing and watch the incoming sea.
Jersey
Great place to stay overnight. It can be rented through Jersey Heritage Lets. Accessible on foot only on big low tides. However, you can kayak/paddle/swim to in at many states of tide. There are 3 levels. The first level as you enter from the raised stairs is the kitchen/dinning area. Then you access the sleeping area with 6 bunk beds via a tight spiral stair case. You can then continue up the spiral staircase to a hatch to access the roof. There are 360 degree views of St Ouens bay and it's a perfect spot to watch the sunset from. The drop/bag toilet is also accessed from the roof.
An amazing place for sunset photography. Long sandy beach, breakers coming in from the ocean, landmarks to fit into the camera lens. All you need for a good sunset shot
Top location for an overnight kayaking trip. I can organise renting the tower from Jersey Heritage Lets plus provide kayaks and paddle kit.
