The story
A largely intact 1950s civil defence command bunker built into the rock under St Helier, fitted out with period communications kit, decontamination rooms and dormitories. Run by volunteers from the Channel Islands Occupation Society alongside the war-era sites at Noirmont.
What to expect
Rare British Cold War heritage site, often open alongside Battery Lothringen.
