Elegant modern European cooking served on a sun-trap terrace that looks straight out over Gorey Harbour and up to the towers of Mont Orgueil Castle. The menu leans on Jersey produce - local crab, scallops and beef feature heavily - plated with a refined, contemporary touch and a wine list curated to match. Inside, the dining room has a calm, understated feel, all soft light and white linen, while the terrace fills quickly on warm evenings as the fishing boats come in below. It's the kind of place islanders save for special occasions: anniversaries, birthdays, and visiting family. Couples in particular tend to linger over the view long after the plates are cleared.
