Pêtchi - named after the Jersey word for the island's traditional seafood stew - is a stylish restaurant and bar on Liberty Wharf, overlooking the marina at the edge of St Helier. The kitchen cooks modern European dishes built around Jersey's land and sea produce, and the bar is one of the best-regarded cocktail spots in town. Evenings only midweek, with lunch added Thursday to Saturday. Rated among the highest of any restaurant on the island.
