Jersey Island Travel is an independent, non-profit visitor guide built by a local resident. We are not the Government of Jersey, we are not Visit Jersey, and we are not a tour operator. No tourist board pays us, no hotel chain owns us. Just one person who wanted visitors to get honest, useful answers.

No corporate owner, no investors, no agency contracts. Recommendations are based on personal experience, not commissions.

This site doesn't sell tours or take affiliate kickbacks from the places listed. If we ever add anything sponsored, we'll mark it clearly.
Not government-affiliated
We are not part of, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Jersey, Visit Jersey, or Ports of Jersey. Always check official sources for rules and bookings.
Made by a local
Built and maintained by a Jersey resident, in spare evenings, because the existing tourism sites felt cold and incomplete.
Why this exists
When friends visit Jersey, I send them the same long list of tips — which beach to hit at low tide, which cliff path is worth the walk, which pub does the proper local cider. This site is that list, expanded, with an AI planner on top so you don't have to read it all.
Free to use
The whole site is free. No paywall, no subscription, no signup required to browse, plan or save ideas. If you find it useful, the kindest thing you can do is tell another visitor — or share a tip we missed.
Highlight collaborations
From time to time we highlight favourite places we genuinely love on the island — a hidden café, a family-run restaurant, a small tour operator. Some of these may become paid "highlight collaborations" in the future to help keep the site free. When that happens we will always label it clearly (e.g. "Highlight partner" or "Sponsored"). We will never write something we don't believe, and we won't take money to bury negative feedback. No hidden affiliate kickbacks.
Own a place featured here?
If you're the owner or manager of an attraction, restaurant, hotel or pub featured on the site and you'd like us to update your photo, fix a description, change opening hours or correct any other detail — just email us at jerseyislandapp@gmail.com with the new info and we'll update your listing for free. Happy to swap in a better photo you provide too.

- Opinions are personal and may differ from the official tourism line.
- Opening hours, prices and tide tables change — always double-check before going.
- AI Planner suggestions are exactly that — suggestions. Verify the details.
- Anything paid or sponsored will be clearly labelled.
- If something on the site is wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

A quick note on the AI Planner (beta)
The planner is still being refined. It may occasionally surface outdated opening hours, prices, seasonal closures or even misnamed venues. Please treat any itinerary as a starting point and double-check the venue's official website before you go.
