Once a back-of-house staff room hidden away from guests, The Porter's Store at the Pomme d'Or Hotel has been reborn as one of St Helier's most atmospheric little bars. Behind a discreet door off the hotel lobby, the room opens into a moody time-capsule of bygone hotel life - neon-lit signage, art-deco wallpaper, deep red banquettes, brass-topped tables and corners crammed with curiosities the long-gone porters left behind. Cocktails are the headline: classics done properly alongside a short, seasonal house list that leans on local Jersey botanicals and produce. There's a tight wine list, a few well-chosen beers and a bar-snack menu for pre-dinner grazing or late-night nightcaps. It's intentionally small and intentionally late - open Thursday to Saturday evenings only - which is exactly what makes it feel like a Jersey secret worth being let in on.

Open Thursday–Saturday, 5pm–1am only. Smart-casual; book a table for weekends as it's tiny and fills up fast. Entrance is via the Pomme d'Or Hotel lobby.
